In 2010, the year of our 100th Anniversary, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) will receive an incredible honor from the United States Postal Service (USPS) in the form of a “Celebrate Scouting” stamp. Eagle Scout Earns Wings in Family Tradition

Ashland High School junior Josh Harris, 15, the youngest person in his class, received his Eagle Scout certificate from the Boy Scouts of America this past week.
Reaching the highest pinnacle of scouthood is obviously a remarkable achievement.
But, to paraphrase the late Paul Harvey, there is more to the story, one that offers a bright ray of hope in our world that sorely needs it.
Boy Scouts Celebrate 100 Years
They build character, teach values, team work, you could go on and on. Most men who were part of the Boy Scouts growing up will tell you they learned a lot. Now the Boy Scouts of America we celebrating 100 years of scouting and want to see their next 100 years go just as strong. (more…)

2 Millionth Eagle Scout

Shawn Goldsmith AKA. The super scout has earned an unheard of number of merit badges from the Boy Scouts of America take that want to. Sean not only surpassed the 21 badges that was required to make Eagle Scout he went on to get all 121 badges offered by the organization.
