Come celebrate the birthday of Boy Scouts and honor our Cobra Patrol (Webelos IIs) as they end their Cub Scout careers and move on to Boy Scouts!

2012 Pack 406 Blue & Gold Banquet

4:00pm – 7:00pm

Casa Estates Clubhouse (~ a block south on Mariposa St from 132nd Ave)

We’ll provide bbq pork & chicken & rolls from Famous Daves! And we’ll have cake! Please bring a side dish to share.

This year’s Blue & Gold Banquet will be held on Saturday, Feb 19th, from 4:30pm until 7:30pm, at the Casa Estates Clubhouse (860 W. 132nd Ave–enter Casa Estates on Mariposa St. and go straight a block or two–it’s on the left).

Games will be from 4:30 to 5:15, followed by a catered spaghetti dinner, recognitions, arrow of light and cross-over ceremonies, and a pot-luck dessert!

Each family should bring a dessert (for six) to share.

The banquet cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 & under, or $20 for your entire nuclear family (grandparents and other relatives pay regular individual fee). Payments can be made at the Pack Meeting or at the door.

Our Pinewood Derby race will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the Arapahoe Ridge cafeteria.  Lunch consisting of a hot dog, chips, and soda will be available for purchase for $2.50. Plus we’ll have a bake sale!

10:00am – Setup

11:00am – Check-in (If your car does not meet the regulations (see Rules below), then it will be moved to the open class race.)

12:00pm - Races begin!

We are looking for donations of baked goods for the bake sale. Please drop them off at 10:00am during setup so we’ll be ready to go at 11:00am.

See your den leader for car number assignments.

On your mark, get set, go!

Our December Pack meeting will be our Holiday Party on Wednesday, 

Dec 15th, 2010, 7pm at the Arapahoe Ridge Elementary School cafeteria.

Each scout should bring a wrapped gift (max $5) for a gift exchange.  Siblings can bring one too!

Safety and Awareness

Our Pack Meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov 17th,  7:00pm, at the ARE cafeteria. This meeting will focus on Youth Protection Training, specifically bullying and how to deal with it on the boy’s level. 

Bring your popcorn money if you have it. 

Pinewood Derby cars will be handed out!  Free to Pack 406 Cub Scouts; $5 each for parents/siblings who can race in the open class race.

Brigid Jones (Grant’s mom) has agreed to take on the leadership role of organizing the Blue & Gold Banquet…But she can’t do it alone.

We will be having a B&G Committee meeting on Tuesday, December 8th at 7pm at the Jones’ house. We would like to get as many Web 2 parents involved as possible to make this a great Blue & Gold banquet for our Web 2 boys. (more…)
