2011 Pinewood Derby Jan 29
Our Pinewood Derby race will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the Arapahoe Ridge cafeteria. Lunch consisting of a hot dog, chips, and soda will be available for purchase for $2.50. Plus we’ll have a bake sale!
10:00am – Setup
11:00am – Check-in (If your car does not meet the regulations (see Rules below), then it will be moved to the open class race.)
12:00pm - Races begin!
We are looking for donations of baked goods for the bake sale. Please drop them off at 10:00am during setup so we’ll be ready to go at 11:00am.
See your den leader for car number assignments.

Youth Protection Training
Child abuse is an increasingly serious, widespread problem in society, affecting every ethnic group, socioeconomic level, and geographic area. The significance of this problem is revealed by the nearly 3 million cases of child abuse reported each year in the United States. The Boy Scouts of America has developed Youth Protection training to prepare its leaders and parents to help children who have been, or are being, abused. (more…)
